For students that have successfully completed the online programs (e.g. Inside Āyurveda, Food As Medicine, and Phytomedica) or the equivalent, the Dogwood School of Botanical Medicine offers a series of group intensives for professional development. These intensives are planned several times a year, taught at the school campus in Powell River BC, and taught over a period of one to two weeks. Each intensive will focus on a specific area of expertise such as gastroenterology, immunology, and rheumatology, providing students with a comprehensive and practical approach to each subject, including anatomy and physiology, pathology, diagnosis, materia medica, and holistic treatment.
Students invited to participate in this program are looking to deepen their knowledge through in-class lecture, group discussion, and hands-on training. Drawing upon the knowledge and skill of Todd Caldecott, as well as invited teachers with a diverse range of experience, these group intensives are the perfect place to stretch your thinking and upgrade your skills.
